You see them around campus, on the bus, or at the farmer’s market—tote bags going back to Science2001.
The no-frills approach for Science2009 means no new bags this year, but participants are encouraged to reuse their bags from years past.
Science2009—Unplugged, the University of Pittsburgh’s ninth annual celebration of science and technology, is planned for Thursday and Friday, 15 and 16 October, at Alumni Hall. Two full days of great science presentations by some of Pittsburgh’s leading researchers are planned, as are keynote lectures by distinguished guest scientists. Also featured will be exhibits, poster sessions, a career development workshop, a new technology showcase, networking opportunities, and more—all built around a timely theme: Science2009—
